Josh Anderson had 4 hits and 3 RBI as the Streator Reds rallied impressively
to win in dramatic style over Dyersville Jurassics, 8 to 5.
Streator scored the decisive runs in a big 9th inning as they scored 6 runs on
6 base hits. The crucial at-bat was provided by Anderson who deflated the
mood of the partisan fans when he slapped a base-hit plating two runs.
Streator had 13 hits for the afternoon.
The win went to Brian Wilson(1-0) who allowed no runs in 1 and 1/3 innings.
Wilson was helped out by Jonathan Papelbon who recorded his 1st save. Andrew
Brown(0-1) ended up with the loss in relief. Streator scored big getting 6
runs off him in 2 innings.
Jim Aldrich was not very talkative after his team's tough loss. 'I'm not in
the mood for questions, but I'm sure Ralph Madara will be glad to talk about
the game as long as you have questions to ask.'
